BLENDED 6 — IICANA

BLENDED 6 is a high-level English course in IICANA’s Blended program. It uses Pearson Connectivity 5 as its core coursebook and develops integrated communication skills across speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

This online course space brings selected lessons, media, practice, homework, review, and assessment preparation together in one place for IICANA students and teachers. It supports the guided class experience by giving students organized access to course resources and suitable independent practice.

Across the term, the course works with priority outcomes selected from Units 1–10. Class time emphasizes meaningful oral interaction, clarification, guided practice, and communicative transfer, while appropriate receptive and controlled work can be completed through blended or independent study.

Students complete four mandatory quizzes during the course. Together, they assess structure and vocabulary as well as skills that include listening, reading, composition, and speaking. Preparation focuses on the underlying language and skills rather than reproducing assessment questions.

The overall goal is to help students communicate with greater confidence, accuracy, flexibility, and independence while successfully completing the final stage of IICANA’s Blended sequence.

What level is this course?

This course is for B1 (Intermediate) students or learners with a solid upper pre-intermediate base.

To make the most of this course, students are expected to attend classes regularly, participate actively in live sessions, and complete homework on time. Please make sure you have your course materials ready and a stable internet connection for each class
